To that end, Cronos augments their direct data-monitoring service with a Clinical Library of additional tools and applications:
- An online Knowledge Database, built with the help of scale authors and key opinion leaders, contains information on industry standard scales (such as the Ham-D 17, MADRS, PANSS, YGTSS, YMRS). Each scale-specific module provides administration guidance, scoring examples, and suggestions on addressing conflicting or unusual patient presentations with information about item usage in aggregate.
- A Clinical Consultation feature integrated within the Knowledge Database, where raters can contact us proactively and solicit support in a manner similar to the way hospitals provide advice and supervision for institution-based clinicians. This service is available to raters in all geographic regions: we are currently conducting clinical trials in over 20 languages.
- An easy-to-use Scoring Assistant is available to assist raters for certain scales (like the PSP) which require complex calculations to assign an appropriate score. Cronos offers this solution to help mitigate the risk of clinical trial data having these hard-to-detect scoring errors.
